The result will give you an insight into your personality and how it influences your performance at work. It will also give you an indication of the types of jobs to which you would be ideally suited and may be a useful tool when considering future career direction Premier CV/Resume Your CV is your shop window. Move it into a prime position by making it a Premier CV. If you want to stand out from the crowd and attract approaches from companies your CV needs to be near the top of the list. Now you can ensure it does. Premier CV benefits: Premier CVs are viewed 4 times as often as standard CVs. Your CV will be listed above standard CVs when a recruiter is searching the CV database. Your CV will appear highlighted when recruiters find your CV in our CV database. Your CV will be available free of charge to all recruiters (recruiters must pay to access standard CVs) n conjunction with Craig Career Consulting (CCC) we are offering you the chance to access the following services - CV/Resume Review Service Your CV should be selling your capabilities and experience. Does your database CV have all the information it should have? Have you included the key words for the search engines? Does your actual CV document work for you? If the first page does not have impact and the key information a potential employer is looking for then it will be passed over for others and you will not get that interview you wanted. Our career consultants will review either of your CVs and advise on changes they would recommend to improve its content and presentation. Please note this does not include making those changes (see CV Writing service below) CV/Resume Re-Writing Service Are you really selling yourself and highlighting the expertise you have? We can help you present yourself more effectively. If you have an existing database CV or CV document which our career consultants can work on, then we will review it and make changes including re-formatting (does not include reformatting database CV). This will ensure that your CV has the impact you need, if you have the right experience, to get to an interview stage. Please Note: If your CV requires extensive redrafting and will require a number of communications to establish the key information and help us get a better understanding of your skills, achievements and capabilities we will recommend the CV Writing Service. If you select the CV re-writing service but the information provided by you subsequently in our CV form is insufficient to enable us to complete the CV quickly then we will request an upgrade to the CV Writing service. CV/Resume Writing Service Primarily for those who do not have a CV but also as noted above where extensive reworking is necessary. Our career consultant will ask you to provide all the relevant information it is felt to be necessary and will then write a new CV (database or document) for you. There are various levels of this service to reflect the complexity and communication need. Graduate Level A starter CV of about 1 - 2 pages presenting the limited experience you are likely to have to best effect. Key will be your individual profile, your skills, your academic record and your interests. It is recommended you start working on this well before you graduate as you will find the discipline will show where you have weaknesses in the CV for job / career planning and help you put in place steps to overcome them. Professional Level A CV of about 2-3 pages demonstrating the level of discipline attainment and the span of experience you can call on as a professional. Emphasis will be on the technical training, skills, experience, qualifications, accountability and the types of jobs you have done. Executive Level A CV of 3 pages maximum, demonstrating your achievements in the management field, the seniority of roles, levels of accountability, whether P/L responsible and directing the CV towards achieving the next stage in your career. This level of CV requires more information on such things as personal objectives, skills, consideration of options and the key aspects that need to be stressed to optimise self marketing. Cover Letter Advice Service Are you having difficulty in writing that important covering letter to go with your CV when applying for the job you would like? Would you like advice on how to draft the letter and have an example to model your covering letter on or would you just like us to review your letter and give feedback on it with suggested changes/improvements? As a result of frequent requests we have introduced an additional service to help individuals such as yourself prepare a covering letter that’s appropriate for the type of approach being made. Are you intending to send your CV to (a) an agency, or (b) with an application to an organisation that is advertising a job or (c) on a speculative basis or even (d) to an organisation on a targeted basis because you know they are likely to be interested in your skills? The covering letter to each of the above will require to be different but you may not be confident in drafting the right letter.
